President & CEO

The President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible for the company’s operational management, in which the objective is to secure significant and sustainable growth in the value of the company for its shareholders.
The CEO prepares decisions and other matters for the meetings of the Board of Directors, develops the Group’s operations in line with the targets agreed with the Board of Directors, and ensures the proper implementation of Board decisions. The CEO is also responsible for ensuring that the existing legislation and applicable regulations are observed throughout the company.

Jussi previously served as the President and CEO of Enersense International Plc, a company listed on the Nasdaq Helsinki stock exchange, for 11 years. During his tenure, the company was first listed on the First North list and later on the main list, growing its turnover from a few million to 400 million euros. Enersense employs over 2000 employees and was the fastest-growing company in the Nasdaq Helsinki over a 5-year period (2019-2023). In 2020, Jussi was recognized as the best CEO of the year among listed companies in Finland by the leading financial magazine, Kauppalehti, based on the increase in owner value. Besides his current role, Jussi also holds several board positions.

Jussi Holopainen is currently the President and CEO of Summa Defence Ltd. In this role, he leads a new Finnish defence group that possesses unique expertise and has ambitious growth targets to become a major player in Europe.
